July 2026 — Initial release
The first public release of HateItAll shipped with:
- 23 local tools across four categories — images and screenshots (redaction, metadata inspection and stripping, compression, resizing, conversion, cropping), PDFs (merge, split, rotate, PDF-to-images, images-to-PDF, metadata cleaning, watermarking), spreadsheets (Excel↔CSV conversion, hidden-data inspection, metadata removal, values-only clean copies), and video and audio (trim, mute, compress, audio extraction, audio trimming).
- Output verification framework: privacy-relevant tools reopen and rescan their own outputs and report Verified, Verified with declared limitations, or Failed verification — with failed checks blocking the download.
- Fully local processing: a static site with no upload endpoints; engines run in the browser tab and load on demand per tool.
- No telemetry: shipped with zero analytics scripts, no cookies, and no third-party scripts on tool routes.
- Dark, light, and system themes with a high-contrast, accessibility-focused design system, keyboard operability for core actions, and responsive layouts for desktop and mobile.
- Trust documentation: how-it-works verification guide, privacy policy, security and architecture overview with threat model, browser compatibility notes, and six practical privacy guides.
