How to use split pdf & extract pages
Select a PDF; its page count loads locally.
Choose a mode: extract a range (e.g. 2-5, 8), split every N pages, or one file per page.
Run the split. Each output is generated and verified independently.
Download a single PDF or a ZIP containing all parts.
What this tool does
- Range extraction with flexible syntax (e.g. 1-3, 7, 9-12)
- Split every N pages or one PDF per page
- Independent per-output verification — one failure doesn't discard the rest
- ZIP download with deterministic names
How the result is verified
Every generated part is reopened and its page count checked against the requested ranges before it is offered for download.
Frequently asked questions
Do extracted pages contain content from other pages?
Each output is a fresh document containing only the pages you selected. Shared resources like fonts are copied as needed; pages you excluded are not present in the output file.
Is my file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened with your browser's File API and processed by code running in your tab. You can confirm this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, watch the Network panel, and process a file — no request carries your file's bytes. See our How it works page for a step-by-step verification guide.
